In this case, a test bench should be developed and built that can retract the clutches, i.e. the friction lining, and carry out a wide variety of torque and current tests in parallel. At the same time, the results should be electronically documented and the serial number engraved by laser beam. Due to the close cooperation between LICOS and DILEIMA, it was always possible to react quickly to the requirements and thanks to DILEIMA’s great competence in plant and special machine construction, the project could be realized completely and from a single source.

The result is a rotary transfer test bench with four stations working simultaneously. As a result, efficiency could be increased enormously. In the first station, the couplings are inserted and removed. This is followed by the test station in which the run-in of the friction linings, the torque and current measurement as well as the automatic and electronic documentation takes place. In the third station, the serial number is engraved quickly and completely silently with the help of the laser. In the fourth and thus last station, the clutch is blown off and thus freed from dust, which is collected by a special filter.
