In highly automated systems, the focus is on the transportation and positioning of large or heavy products, or processes in which objects have to be moved very quickly and precisely. Here we achieve significantly faster cycle times and a lower error rate with robots than in manually operated systems.
The radius of action is up to 3 meters, and the handling weight is up to 130 kg. In some cases, over 500 positions are realized.
A wide variety of product variants are placed quickly and precisely when used in gripper changeover. They are increasingly controlled by high-resolution, AI-based camera technology including real-time corrections.
